Based on Singapore PSI (Pollutant Standards Index) readings from NEA, I am trying to find out whether hazes will affect the temperature of the air around us (in singapore)

Dry weather causes a temperature increase in the clouds which in turn causes light raindrops. Very light raindrops cannot fall to Earth as rain. Silver iodine or dry ice is seeded onto the clouds to lower their temperature. Ice crystals then form and gradually increase in size. Due to the gravitational pull, these ice crystals fall to the Earth and transform into drops of water when melted by Earth’s warmer temperature. The rain helps wash the haze down to the Earth.

The sea level will increase if the climate increases. The climate changes as more greenhouse gases are trapped on Earth

Ideas

I thought that the increase in water level is because most of the ice bergs are breaking because of the climate change.

 Im sorry .. but my group members did the wrong reflection. They did week 1 reflection..

Well.. i can start by

1. Finding information about it and post them to the group blog.
   
2. Buying/getting a file to keep important forms , data and worksheets regarding the IPW.
   
3. Encouraging/reminding group members to contribute to this project/topic.
   
4. Compiling the information we found into a word document.
   
5. Oh wait.. theres no point 5 :)

We have decided on the topic we want to do today.

29. Study of weather / climate change and sea level rise

Facts
When the weather is raining, there would be more water so the sea level would be higher while when the weather is sunny, there would be less water as they are evaporated.

Ideas
I think I would go to the internet to check for the sea levels and see if there is a relationship with the weather for a week or more.

Learning Issues
I want to find out about how the weather change is related to the rising of the sea level in Singapore.

Action Plan
I can calculate the relation between how bad the weather which would cause what kind of effects to the sea level.

Facts
I know a little on how the weather and climate change affects the sea level rise.

Ideas
I think that the topic we have chosen is a good one and that we will be able to do a good project!

I know that the weather is causing the polar ice caps to melt making the sea level rise

I think that this project will be meaningful to enable us to contribute less to global warming

I can make a product to enable less global warming and so there would be just enough rain so the sea levels will not rise as quickly

I know that when temperarture increases, polar ice caps will melt and in turn cause the water level to rise worldwide.

I think that this topic is not too hard or too easy for our group and did not regret choosing this topic.
